Big Foot Rapids Ride

This project included the development of a new water ride course and pathways, concessions for retail and food, and queuing buildings.

This major expansion project was designed to take guests through a seemingly natural wilderness area in the Sierra Nevada’s. The blending of the ride’s technical requirements, support structures, and visitor access, with the realistic landscape theming, was very important to create a successful experience.

As part of the High Sierra experience, man-made waterfalls were designed to appear natural, while the structure, hydraulics and safety features were cleverly disguised in the landscaping.
