Project Description

This project consists of the expansion of the Emergency Department (ED) and Laboratory facilities. The ED expansion will be integrated into the existing ED and includes a new waiting room and reception, lounge area, counseling rooms, exam rooms including trauma, isolation and cast rooms.

There are also physician’s dictation and radio rooms, quiet room and triage, toilet rooms and other administrative offices.

A large, double nurse’s station area is central to the design. The expansion will create a new exterior entry & ambulance drop off area. The laboratory remodel includes the blood bank and blood draw areas, and the creation of a physician’s library and amenities area.
